A review from the author of EUROPE ON 84 CENTS A DAY
Liked: There is nothing to dislike about Our House Backpackers. The dorms are very spacious and very clean. The washrooms/shower area is the best i have ever come across and this is coming from a veteran traveller of over 30 years. The kitchen has numerous stoves, plenty of space to store your food in the fridges and a modest breakfast… ..a games room for ping pong players, plenty of computers and a big screen tv. The local bus that leaves from the Adelaide airport dropped me off 25 meters from the hostel!!! and that was at 10 pm on a Sunday night. Unfortunately, i had to leave the next day to catch a bus to Alice Springs so even though i paid for my room for a 2nd night, the staff at Our House Backpackers were understanding and graciously refunded my hostel payment in true Aussie style. I’d recommend Our House Backpackers
Its worth the money, its really cheap and you get more than you pay for. Richard was really helpful and friendly as were all the staff. Showers were really clean, always hot water. Kitchen fully stocked. Free breakfast!!! What more could you ask for? No bed bugs! The common area is a bit small upstairs but there is one downstairs….

Very Modern
A very modern hostel with cool stuff and a perfectly equipped kitchen. The internet is cheap and you have TVs and can borrow some DVDs or just play pool. The hostel is well considered in the center of the town. If you want to visit something, from booking a tour up to planning a rip on your own just ask the staff, they will always help you. If you arrive with the train: be aware that the guy who asks you if you need accommodation is from the hostel and can drive you there with the car. Only disadvantage: the mats are new but too hard and it is a little pricy.

A good backpackers Hostel
A very nice and clean backpackers with three common rooms with flat screen TVs and a built in bar with exceptionally cheap drinks. The staff are nice and helpful for the most part. The beds are a bit stiff, but overall not too bad for a backpackers. I would reccommend staying there.

It was fun
I had a great stay at Our House… The staff are absolute legends! We had some funny moments I’ll always remember 
Also a great location plenty to do and see in the area!! Thanx guys for makin Adelaide one to remember xx

Great Location and Friendly staff
great location and friendly staff, this hostel is pretty new so the facilities is clean! there is a bar in the hostel as well, if u want to have some cheap drinks before going out or meet some new friends, the place is the perfect! if you plan to stay in Adelaide, looking for a awesome and friendly hostel, this is the place!
